Benue State To Boost Educational Sector

The Benue state government has maintained its promise to raise the standard of education in the state by providing a conducive learning environment.

This was made known by the Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Commission, Mr Philip Tachin, on the inspection tour of the 7.6 billion naira State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), model schools in Guma and other parts of the state.

“Our intention is to see that all the structures stand in very high quality,” Tachin said as he frowned at the fact that students in some schools in the state currently take classes under trees.

He however, promised that the new structures as and when completed would enhance the educational system of the state.
