Nigerians and the international community are still celebrating the release of 21 Chibok girls who were kidnapped over two years ago. The girls have been specially recognized globally and have met with vice president Yemi Osinbajo and other dignitaries.

But now concerns have been raised online concerning the plight of other refugee girls who have been rescued from Boko Haram captivity and have gotten “no special recognition.” According to some online users, the equation is not balanced.
